Be Healed.

Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
And make straight paths for your feet,
lest that which is lame be turned out of the way;
but let it rather be healed.

Hebrews 12:12-13

(Disclaimer: All the following pictures were stolen from other sources ~ ie. Minji and Christiana)

Greetings from Korea! I'm only at my 2 weeks mark in the city of Seoul and I've had both good and bad experiences so far. I do really miss the company of the tristate area and can't wait to see everyone again... I also miss hitting those stats/math books and miraculously absorbing the material at the beautiful Alexander library.... BUT, the summer has proven satisfying so far, and my internship seems to be going quite well.

[The rooftop of the marketing firm I'm interning at.]

My brother has me doing nightly stomach exercises and, with my stupid self-made suggestion, I believe he's going to buy me a jumprope to get me in shape during his shorter stay here. Soreness will be a miserable companion of mine until I leave the motherland.... or at least until I go to the Korea University dorms in July. :)  If there are actual positive results from these exercises, perhaps I'll continue them on my own..... but I, shamefully, most likely will not. x)

I want to do so much here, but I just don't seem to have the time (working 9-6 everyday, with a curfew) or a person to go around with. :( I don't have my camera either! (I broke my Casio.) Darned Seoul is such a couples city. There's nearly nothing offered for a slowly-becoming-lonely table for one. It's helped to meet great co-interns and tear it up at Coex or 동대문 (~Christiana) but it doesn't seem to be the same as what others experience. I guess I'll have to see as the summer progresses and I experience Korea University soon enough.

Aside from all that mushiness, from my first week here, I followed Minji to a church called Jubilee, by 강남 station. Everything is in English and I feel as if I'm back home in the states when I walk through those doors. It's definitely helping me with the homesickness I've been having lately...

 The passion of the worship, the sermon, everything is such a huge blessing so far. I feel as if perhaps God has called me to Korea this summer to experience this church... to no longer feel so bitter and closed towards my own cultural roots and to witness such glory in His name through the ministry of this church, in this country. Although I have quite a few weeks ahead of me to see more of what this church has in store. I know for sure that this is a major turning point in my life... and I have to say, I'm so excited. :)

Greetings from Korea! :)

So I have to look for innovative ads at the internship I'm at.
I found the following video... it's hilarious

The path in front of me holds so much of the unknown.
In the journey of joys and heartache, there is love and grace.
There's so much more to learn, to see, to experience...
Lord, please hold my heart and guide the steps I may take..
... for the final destination I seek to come to, is You.
